Not an opinion: the eight classes ordered by the combat power their strongest players actually reach. For each class we took the 20 strongest of 400 level-45 characters sampled from NC's public profiles and ranked the classes by the median of those 20.
The bands split the gap between the highest and the lowest median into three equal parts: A is the top third, C the bottom third. With classes this close, one patch or a larger sample can move a class a band.
What it measures: combat power, the game's own gear-and-growth score, among the strongest characters we sampled (eu, read on 4 Oct 2026). It is not damage, not PvP results, not how easy a class is to play, and not how many people play it: a class whose best players invest more will sit higher.
What those players wear and run, class by class, is in the community builds and feeds the character builder's advisor.
This hub is made by the team building AION Companion, an AI companion for AION 2 that reads your HUD from the screen and the game's own event log on your PC, and talks to you out loud. It is not released yet.
