Four pieces written for the global launch: what a year of Korean patches means for the build we get, which class to pick, how progression actually works, and what the faction choice does and does not change. Where a claim rests on one outlet, the text says so.

Ten months of Korean patches, a global build that deliberately lags behind, and the handful of things NC has actually confirmed for October 5.

Eight classes, two factions that can play all of them, and a balance patch cadence that makes any tier list a snapshot. What the official material says, what players agree on, and where they don't.

AION 2 measures your character three ways at once. A plain-language map of the systems behind the numbers, with a warning about what the global build changes.

It is permanent, it decides whose server you live on and who you fight in the Abyss, and it does not touch your class. Everything else is lore, looks and one disputed claim.

Korea has been live since 19 November 2025 and is roughly a year ahead. Any tier list, dungeon guide or patch note you find is a photograph of the Korean game on one particular day; the global client launches on a modified Season 1 and is tuned differently. We mark Korean-only facts as Korea throughout the hub.
This hub is made by the team building AION Companion, an AI companion for AION 2 that reads your HUD from the screen and the game's own event log on your PC, and talks to you out loud. It is not released yet.
