Browse the 264 recipes each faction has across Blacksmithing, Armorsmithing, Handicrafting, Alchemy and Cooking. Open one to see what it needs, set how many you want, and the page totals the raw materials, with sub-recipes opened up down to what you gather, buy or loot. Item names, icons and sources are NC's own; the recipe amounts come from the Global client's data and are marked as such below.
NC marks 46 materials as coming from Gathering. These are the node names in the client data with what each one yields; click a material to list the recipes that use it. Each side has its own woods, herbs and cooking plants, so some are used by the other faction's recipes only. Node locations and gathering levels are not in the data.
Each one also makes its own working materials (ingots, wood, leather, powders, refined Balaur parts) and the token for its next rank.
Every profession has its own proficiency. A recipe asks for a Novice level (1 to 50) or a Professional level (1 to 50); 190 of the 528, all of them Unique gear, carry no level in the data.
To change rank you craft the profession's own token at the top of the current one: the Novice Blacksmith's Hammer needs Novice Lv 50 and, in NC's item text, can be crafted “only by those prepared to upgrade to the rank of Professional Blacksmith”. The Professional token names the rank after that, Artisan; no recipe here asks for it.
296 of the 528 recipes can proc: a 20, 25 or 30 percent chance that the craft gives a better item instead, such as an Artisan's piece turning into an Artisan's Splendent one. The next tier of gear needs exactly that Splendent piece, so it cannot be made on demand: the calculator lists it as proc-only, or breaks it down at average odds if you tick the box. For potions, food and drinks the data lists the same item as the proc result and does not say what the proc adds.
Substance Morph is a separate menu. NC's item text describes it converting stone fragments into stones and boss vouchers into gear selection chests; those conversions are not in this data, so they are not listed.
Items are NC's. Every item name, grade, icon, category, description and source tag on this page is NCSOFT's own Global English item data, the public endpoint behind its item dictionary, fetched on 4 Oct 2026. All 700 items the recipes name exist there (700 under exactly the same name), NC lists Crafting as a source for 450 of the 450 crafted products, and its Gathering tag matches the gathered materials 46 for 46.
Recipes are not NC's. NCSOFT publishes no recipe data. The recipes, amounts, proficiency levels and proc chances are from xtopolis/aion2-static (MIT, data commit 86261e2), a community extraction of the Global client of the Launch Scale Test, dated 21 Sep 2026. They are Global values, not Korean or Taiwanese ones, but they are two weeks older than the launch build and nobody at NC has confirmed them. If the game shows a different amount, the game is right.
Not from Global: the kinah prices of the 32 shop materials were written down by hand in the Taiwan client's shop on 19 Aug 2026 (same repository). They are labelled as Taiwan prices; Global shop prices may differ. The client data gives no kinah fee per craft, so none is counted.
Known gaps. Whether the 190 recipes without a level are really open to everyone is not verified. A “Splendent” recipe lists only its extra materials, not the base piece it upgrades. The calculator assumes the normal result on every craft. Gear stats are the +0 values of the character builder's gear planner.
